Appreciating Books … and Their Bloggers

First of all, give yourself a nice pat on the back … and a loud cheer for your friends who blog about books. As I mentioned yesterday, our fingers are powered by our passion to share a love of reading, and at least once (okay twice) a year we suffer a bout of blog flu and wonder “why am I doing this?”

Well, BBAW isn’t the reason why … it’s because you know you’re part of a community of others who appreciate what you do every day (or however frequently you get the chance).

How do I know this? Well, because while I have been busy loading 25 new book profiles from our reviewers, my reader has grown to more than 700 posts (not counting the starred items I’ve been skimming). So, now that my head is above water, I am off to appreciate all of your hard work. And I promise to leave comments, too!
