Books We Read – April 2010

Spring is here, and so is the slow erosion of reading time. From now until summer, the monthly booklists will see the pinch as we spend more time outside and with sports. Maybe shorter is better, time will tell!

If you have read and reviewed one of the books, please feel free to add it to the Website; add a link in the comments here; or send me an email at thereadingtub [at] gmail [dot] com with “book review” in the title. I’m happy to send traffic your way.

  2. I like the format of the reviews I linked to. Leap, Laugh, Plop looks great but as the cons say, if the rhymes don’t work, I’m not interested! I have always been intrigued by Septimus Heap and your reviewer couldn’t find a con, so my intrigue level is heightened. (Terry, your list here is missing Septimus’s title and the one above it.)

    1. Thanks for the heads up, Susan. For some reason the widget to Open Library didn’t work. They are updated now. Re: Septimus Heap, our reviewer is very anxious to keep reading the series. She REALLY liked it … this is one I’m looking forward to reading with Catherine some day.
