As you may remember, just after Jen announced the birth of her baby bookworm, Carol Rasco, President and CEO of Reading is Fundamental, volunteered to pitch in with our roundups. We thought that with the new semi-monthly format, we’d use the second roundup each month to look at what the children’s literacy and reading worlds have been up to …

What Carol has pulled together is enough to blow the top off a mountain in Iceland! Hurry over to Rasco from RIF for the April in Review roundup.

And PLEASE be sure to thank Carol for her effort. She runs an international literacy nonprofit and was in the midst of moving their base of operations last week … and yet she still found time to contribute a post.
