The Reading Tub is one of about 100 national nonprofits invited and selected to be part of the Life is Good $125,000 Challenge. The Challenge is a friendly fundraising campaign launched by Life is Good, the lifestyle brand which uses its clothing as a vehicle to spread the power of optimism.
This is a 30-day Fundraising Challenge that started on Monday, November 2. The idea is to #GROWtheGood for organizations that strengthen our communities. To give back to those charities, Life is Good will be donating $125,000 to organizations dedicated to helping children. The organization that raises the most during the Challenge will get a $50,000 donation to their cause. Second place gets $30,000 and third gets $20,000.
We’re ready to raise as much money as we can for our cause so we can win one of those prize donations. And, we really need your help to make it happen.
How You Can Help
The great thing about supporting the Reading Tub is that 100% of donations go to our Family Literacy Integration Project – aka FLIP. We are a volunteer organization so every penny earned goes to our family literacy mission, not advertising, lightbulbs, salaries, or other operational overhead.

About Life is Good
Life is Good, the lifestyle brand which uses its clothing as a vehicle to spread the power of optimism, is launching the Life is Good $125,000 Challenge. The Challenge is a friendly fundraising competition for organizations focused on building a world in which life is good for all kids.
Everything launches on Monday, November 2nd at 2:00pm ET and runs for four weeks with the Grand Prize contest ending on December 2nd at 1:59:59pm ET.
The charity teams that raise the most during the Challenge win the grants…
-1st Place will get a $50,000 donation for their cause
-2nd place will get $30,000
-3rd place will get $20,000
Plus, there will be weekly Bonus Challenges for organizations to win additional cash prizes totaling $25,000. During Week 1, every organization that receives at least $250 in donations is eligible to win $5,000 cash prize.
The best part of the Challenge is that even if an organization doesn’t win any of the prize money, they get to keep the money raised during the campaign. So, so great.
