A First Guide To Space Creatures
Ambassador Ticklydung, having spent his career traveling the galaxies, has created the Space Creature Sanctuary to protect many of the endangered and rare species he's encountered. This is an illustrated guidebook that explains each of the creatures housed there.
Limited text and colorful images will capture the imaginations of young readers.
None, really.
Our daughter much preferred looking at the pictures and having us read than trying to read the book herself. That said, she would periodically pick it up from the table to look at the various creatures and always had a comment to share.
This is a cute book. I can easily see upper-elementary readers (especially boys) interested in the topic, and I love the potential it has for inspiring kids to create their own creatures, both with visuals and text descriptions.
Each of the profiles is juse one page, making this a great selection for reluctant readers.
This is a great primer for launching art and writing projects about creating "new" animals or creatures.

Borrow. This is a fun book to share, but it isn't one that kids come back to for a story.
