a good day

Summary:
Four little critters lose something dear to them: their mother, a feather, a nut. As the story goes on, they learn that there is a silver lining or nothing to worry about. The bird who loses a feather finds she can fly higher. The fox realizes his mother is just on the other side of the bush. So what seems to be a bad day, turns out to be a good day, after all!

Buy. This wonderful book will see LOTS of readings. It is a short, positive book that makes it an easy read at the end of a tiring day.
Little Kid Reaction
My kids loved the colorful pictures in this book. They loved the fact that animals were it's subject. We read it a lot.
Big Kid Reaction
I loved the message in this book. So often, kids this age become distraught over what seems to them to be the end of the world. This is a great book to open discussion about the silver lining in most things.
Pros:

Darling pictures and wonderful, positive message make this a must have. I can't say it enough: Positive message...Positive message!!!

Cons:

None.
