Blood Roses
This book had multiple stories in it. There was one about how a man's angel wings were torn off. There was another story about a girl who was dating a guy who ones a tattoo parlor and she wasn't into tattoos but she wants to get one from his shop. She woke up with a new tattoo every morning and until she talks to her boyfriend, they will keep coming. They went away after she talked him.
This has amazing stories.
Both students: There is bad language and sexual references.
North student: I picked the book because of the title. I liked it because the stories were interesting and I continuously wanted to read more. This is a book for older children because it has bad language and sexual references.
Robbinsdale student: I picked this because it looked like a good book. It is an interesting book and has a good story. I liked it "a little," and I think other people would like it, too. I would skip this book because I don't like reading, but this was OK. I would get this book for some of my friends because I think they would like it..
This collection of nine stories are designed to show teens how the ordinary can be extraordinary.
