Bones And The Roller Coaster Mystery #7 (Easy To Read Series)
Bones and his grandfather go to the amusement park, and Bones gets tickets: one set of yellow, one set of green. When it is time for the big ride they do not have the green tickets. Bones helps his grandpa find where he used the green ticket instead of the yellow. In the end they decide to ride the smaller coaster instead.
This is an easy-to-understand mystery that is fun to read. It will help emergent readers move toward chapter books.
None.
Our daughter kept making comments about where she thought they might have used the wrong tickets. She also was very happy when they chose to ride the smaller coaster instead of the big one saying that would have been too scary for them. She liked that Bones helped his grandfather. She didn't want to read this one again, but only because it is a chapter book.
I enjoyed the simple mystery that shows if we keep trying we might figure out our problems. I was surprised she liked it as it was a mystery about a boy. The author did a good job making it more about the mystery than about a boy!
This is an easy reader chapter book for emergent readers (first and second grade).
Because of the process that Bones and his grandfather used, there are opportunities to talk about problem solving, using your memory, logic, and alternate solutions.

Buy. I would buy this book for any new reader who likes mysteries. Libraries should definitely have this book and the others in the Bones series.
