The Little Prince leaves his own tiny planet in search of adventures in a visit to our world. This is a very condensed version of the classic book Le Petit Prince, just for toddler-sized attention spans.
The structure and presentation offer parents an opportunity to take a French classic and begin lessons in French. Language absorption is perfect with story-telling, particularly for books that get read over and over.

Started reading with child 2 years old.
Borrow, unless you can pick this book up in France. The cost for this little book is very high.
S/he enjoys the story but focuses on the English words.
It's nice to have a book with both French and English for those of us who need some refreshing of our French-speaking skills. The original illustrations from De Saint-Exupery's book brings back many memories!
The story is shortened, with only one sentence to concentrate on per page. Great for a parent teaching a foreign language.
At two, the French sentence structure is difficult to explain (it doesn't follow the English sentence structure), but the language will come with time.
