This is a good tool to have fun and build a bond between parent and child. The book has colorful illustrations, good instructions for performance, and encouraging advice that's critical for a new parent.
You may not find the book as helpful if you already know the rhymes and movement.
These are some of my sons favorite "bouncy" rhymes and games. He liked flipping through the colorful book on his own, but it was difficult to perform the corresponding movements while holding the book.
The book indered the movement that went along with the rhyme. I liked the illustrations and I think it would be an EXCELLENT book for a new parent or grandparents to learn the rhymes.

This is a great learning tool for a new parent. It will help them learn ways to interact, play with, and stimulate infants from ages 4 months to 12 months and beyond.

Buy. This is great for new parents and grandparents. My 3-year-old still loves to "do" these rhymes and we know them by heart.
