This is a fun, visual story that kids of all ages will love. There is enough "ew yuck" to make them laugh, but not so much that parent's will find the story disgusting. It will be a reluctant reader's page turner!

Our daughter is hooked on Bubba. We shared a chapter each day before school, and she COULDN'T wait to read together each morning. At the end of the day, she'd immediately start talking about what we had read in the morning.
We giggled as much as our daughter! This is a fun story to read, and we were happy to help her start the day with a smile! We were a little concerned she'd pick up and start repeating some of the lines, but that hasn't happened.
This chapter book presents a humorous story for dealing with the fears of making a good impression.
Mom can use this book to say "See, Mom's know everything" and there are some opportunities to talk about nervous habits, overcoming fear, friendship, and (thanks to Nurse Needlebottom) personal safety. But it really is meant to be humorous recreational reading.
