Familiar road signs like "Stop" and not-so-common signs like "Campground" or "Marina" introduce young readers to the signs they see as they look out their window.
I will buy this book and keep it in the car, especially for road trips. It isn't a story, but this catalog of road signs is sure to keep young travelers entertained as they try to spot the different signs on the way to Grandma's or the lake or the mountains!
Each sign is "cut out" from the page, which gives readers the sense of it being a pop-up book more than just a "regular" book.
So. Much. Fun. You'll read it with your kiddo a couple of times, then they'll read it until they have memorized it and are "reading" it themselves.
None, except that you may have a backseat driver pointing out road signs to you.
This is a hands-on board book that explains signs and symbols on the road.
If you're taking the book on a trip, consider creating a checklist, based on the book, to go with it. That way, as your kids spot a particular sign, they can mark it off the list. You might also make a bingo game with the signs, too.

Buy. This is a great way to keep hands busy and minds engaged on road trips.
