Cuckoo Can't Find You
Each page has a different colorful animal that is looking for a different object. You read the clue and have to find the object in the pictures. For example, one page has a goat looking for her boat, which you find in her body. Another page has a seal looking for a wheel.
Beautiful and fun pictures that will attract a child's attention and follows through with easy to find objects that make the book fun to read.
Once you find the objects a couple times the child gets bored with the book.
I picked this book because my son has enjoyed looking for different objects in pictures in other books. He liked it right away on the first page. He laughed at where the objects were hidden and squealed a lot after finding each one.
I liked the beautiful colors and how easy the objects were to find. I liked that it was made for younger children as it is hard to find search and find books for this age group. The pictures were bright and the objects you look for are easy to find so perfect for the age group. It is simple yet enjoyable and I think that is why it held his attention.
This book has very simple pictures and very bright colors for interactive reading.
By searching for objects in the pages, young children are learning how to look for shapes, isolate single items in a collection, and other pre-literacy skills.

Read with a 2-year-old boy.
Borrow. This is fun to read together, but a child will get bored of the book fast so don’t know that I would own it but a library having one wouldn’t be bad.
