Dear Baby: What I Love About You!

Summary:

This board book shows baby all the reasons why mommy loves her so much! From her sassy style to the way she offers food to her mommy, its certain that shes too cute for words!

Reader Enjoyment Factors:

Kids love to hear "I love you," and it is repeated frequently. There aren't too many words on any page.

Content Awareness Factors:

The rhymes are forced.

Little Kid Reaction

My 9-month-old is still too active to sit still for books. My 3-year-old LOVED this book!

Big Kid Reaction

I did not like the book. The rhymes are forced and the illustrations are too cutsie (lots of ribbons and flowers and tutus). I could not understand why my 3 year old liked the book so much. Perhaps he liked hearing the words I LOVE YOU over and over and over again.
Second Mom Reviewer: I liked this book and wish I had it for my little girl. I especially liked the journal page in the back that lets people sign that they read the book with baby.

Type of Book:
This rhyming book, which celebrates how a mom loves her little girl, comes with an autograph page for the people who read it to her.
Educational Themes:

This is a book for sharing and cuddling. Reading to young babies is always a good thing.

Reading Level:
0.0
Recommended Age To Read By Yourself:
5 to 7
Recommended Age To Read Together:
0 to 3
Age of child:
Read with 9-month and 3 year old children.
Purchase Recommendation:
Buy or skip. If you have boys, skip it. With a girl, you might like it. If you go for this book, buy it, since any board book has a chance of being EATEN by a young baby.
