dig, dogs, dig, a construction tail

Summary:
Wake up Construction Dogs! It's time to get moving and do our jobs. Get out the diggers, the bulldozers, and the cranes. Move the dinosaur bone aside and bring in the ducks, they are building a park.
Educational Themes:
The story sets out the steps of the construction process, but there is plenty to explore in the illustrations. This is a great book for asking young readers questions about what they see, what specific objects are (and what they do), etc.

Buy. This would make a great gift, especially for a little kid who loves construction machines.
Little Kid Reaction
Both of my kids loved Dig, Dogs, Dig. It was the favorite book of the week.
Big Kid Reaction
This has a cute story that really appeals to my kids. The rhyming syntax makes it easy to read. I wasn't surprised they liked this book, since we recently read Build, Dogs, Build!
Pros:

Fun narrative, bright and cheery illustrations, and an easy-to-read rhyme structure make this enjoyable share ... and appealing to mixed-age audiences.

Cons:

None.
