dragon, dragon: and other tales

Summary:
Dragon, Dragon is a collection of four original stories with dragons and giants; princesses and kings; and common folk who are heroes. They are new tales, but with a very classic, timeless feel.
Educational Themes:
Despite being set in Medieval times, these stories have life lessons kids can appreciate today. The characters have enough meat to them that you could talk about their choices. For example, "The Miller's Mule" offers a very interesting contrast in trust and friendship. It would also be fun to compare these with other well-known stories (like Rumpelstiltskin)

Big Kid Reaction
These were fun stories with a traditional fable/fairy tale feel. The events were not completely predictable, though an experienced reader could tell you the probable outcome. The pages are dense with text, and the stories could benefit from some black-and-white sketches to keep young listener's attention. These would be ideal as an audio book.
Pros:

Clever characters in traditional settings combine in four very original stories. Each offers laugh-out-loud moments and life lessons as well.

Cons:

The text is very descriptive but may be too much for some audiences.
