The world outside is filled with fairies, and they are very busy. Step outside and help them in their work ... in the garden, in the treetops, making snow, and helping the stars sparkle.
Girls will love following the fairies through their day, particularly the chance to "touch" their world.
None for this book. It would be nice to have more books for older kids. Preschoolers aren't the only kinesthetic learners.
Even at six, our daughter loves books she can play with. They help engage her in listening and enjoying the reading. The text was simple enough that after just a few readings, she could begin to recite it herself.
We would classify this as a book for preschoolers, but there are few touch-and-feel books written for younger elementary kids. Our daughter learns by touching and interacting as she learns, and this book had enough text to offer opportunities to practice reading and sight words.
This is a touch-and-feel board book for young children.
The bright colors, textures, and over-sized insects offer you the chance to build on object identification with toddlers and preschoolers. Kindergarteners and first graders can use this to help with reading. They will learn the story quickly, and by reciting (if not really reading) will gain confidence in their abilities.
