I picked this book because of the reading level and because it was about an historical figure. Before we started reading, my daughter said she didn’t think she was going to like it, but once she started reading it she did not put it down until she was finished. She then said that she enjoyed it and wanted to read it again.
I actually learned things about George Washington that I did not know! This is a well-written and easy-to-understand book. I was very glad when she said she did like it and wants to read more books like this one.
