Little Kid Reaction

Our preschooler was most interested in looking for the fish in the illustrations. When we finished, she wanted to know if Papa can take her fishing on a lake!

Parent Reaction

This one reads so smoothly you feel like you're spending a lazy afternoon in the boat, too. This a books will help you recall special times with a grandparent (even if you weren't fishing buddies), and remind you that you want those same kind of memories for your children, too.

Pros:

The illustrations are beautiful, the story moves along just as it should: with a lazy, wait for the fish kind of pace. AND you get fishing tips in the back.

Cons:

None.
