The authors used a narrative approach following Patrick, the central character, as he explores the Bible’s main ideas with the assistance of Moses, who acts as his guide. Divided into seven chapters, the book uses cartoon illustrations to hold the reader’s attention. At over 90 pages this is a lengthy volume but, of course, there’s a lot to cover too.
With seven chapters and Bible characters as Patrick's guides, there is a lot to explore about the Bible and the history of Christianity.

Read with and by an 8-year-old girl.
Buy. This would be an excellent text for a Bible Study class for children.
A friend’s daughter liked the book and its format. I’m not sure, though, if she would read it on her own or just did so because she was asked.
I liked the format and the approach the authors used. The art is excellent and the focus on “main ideas” is good for young children.
This is an excellent way to introduce and explore the Bible with children.
