How Much Is A Million
Learn about how much a million, billion, and trillion are in terms kids can understand. It even gives a couple pages in the back of the book that explain how they calculated their information.
The book explains huge numbers and difficult math concepts to kids. It has good illustrations for explaining big numbers to children.
The drawings were not that inviting to look at.
My daughter picked it because of hearing the big numbers mentioned on television about U.S. (national) spending. She was amazed at how much those numbers really were. It gave her a better understanding of how to relate big numbers to her day to day life. She asked to read this several times.
I liked how it made a complex subject easy to understand for children. It was a helpful book. I thought the information would be over her head but they explained themselves very well. I saw that she enjoyed learning the information because it was presented in an easy manner.
This is a picture book that helps kids with math concepts and large numbers.
You can use this book to teach numbers and calculating numbers. It also encourages kids to look into something they may not understand.
