Little Kid Reaction

My daughter picked this book because of the cover: a picture of a dad and two girls. She liked all the silly things the sisters did with their Dad: when the are all in the bathroom brushing their teeth together; when Frankie sits on the couch with her dad; and when dad falls asleep. She laughed because the Dad was so tired from the busy day playing. She thought the story was fun and liked the illustrations.

Parent Reaction

This is a beautifully illustrated day of fun for two sweet little girls. It's nice to see a book about a dad and his daughters having fun together. I was surprised she liked it so much. She wanted to read it again quite a few times. I think it was because of the great illustrations.

Type of Book:
This is a colorful daddy-daughter story.
Educational Themes:

This is a story everyone can enjoy. Whether mom or dad is reading it, they can point out that fathers may not do everything the same way mom does, and that sometimes having a different kind of day can be fun.
