Micro photography magnifies these bizarre critters giving the reader a real close up image of each subject. The accompanying text contains facts and a smattering of information about each creature. You’ll find a glossary at the back of the book also.
The photography is fantastic and the text does a decent job of explaining what you are seeing.
This could be a little scary for a younger child.
The child found the photos interesting but I don't think he was totally aware of what he was looking at!
