A little girl is helping her mom in the garden, but she has fantastic ways she’d like to improve the garden. Such as with flowers that change color or grow back right after picking. Or maybe, instead of real bunnies that eat the carrots, substitute them for chocolate bunnies ... and Jelly Bean Bushes! The story ends as the little girl goes to bed, making this a wonderful anytime or bedtime story.
This is a fun story to read just to talk about gardening and introduce the idea of growing things. You can also use it to use your imagination, enjoy the fun of being creative about your ideas, and creating new things.

Read with children ages 3 and 5.
Borrow or buy. Definitely borrow it to share. I'd recommend purchasing it to give it to a friend who is a gardener with a child or grandchild.
My 3 year old loved this book. Yum, chocolate bunnies? Who wouldn’t?! We liked going through and seeing all her wacky ideas for improving the garden.
I loved this book. As an avid gardener, this was a great way to bring some excitement into the subject and open the topic of conversation. The ideas are wonderful and the illustrations are so colorful and fun. A truly wonderful book!
Wonderful illustrations combined with a whimsical story and ideas make this a very attractive book. It is just the right length for a bedtime story, and a sweet ending, too.
