My Planet; Finding Humor In The Oddest Places
This is a collection of Mary Roach's columns about life published in Reader's Digest. The stories are anecdotal, personal, emotional, and humorous.
Short essays about life and life's changes give readers a book where they can pick and choose whatever strikes their funny bone.
None.
This collection of humorous stories kept me laughing and smiling the whole time I read them. My favorite is called "The Way I Can't See It," a story about the authors need for reading glasses and the different emotions she feels. It starts with "This is a story of loss and denial," but kept me laughing from beginning to end.
My Planet is easy to pick up during short breaks. It is broken into different sections per type of story. I recommend this for readers in high school or older. It will give you a good laugh.
Together, Ms. Roach's columns create an anthology of short essays for readers.
This is a collection of personal essays. They are meant for pleasure reading.

Borrow. While humorous, the essays are really one-and-done stories.
