Parent Reaction

While easy to read, the story lacks a real punch. The story is hard to follow at times, as the author sometimes steps out of character to offer scene-setters and other external data.

Pros:

There is enough historical fact to make the information valuable and memorable for kids. They just might be intrigued enough to want to learn more.

Cons:

This isn't a page turner…but it could be.
