Sing-a-Long with Bob in this classic Sesame Street Song

Summary:

Bob and his two Muppet friends introduce kids to two people who live/work in the neighborhood: postman and fireman. The book illustrates the lyrics of the classic Sesame Street song, and also includes four additional community helpers at the end.

Parent Perspective:
Oh, did this song bring back memories - and stay in my head the rest of the day! I am so glad that they used the original version, with Bob McGrath doing the singing.

The CD is what makes this book worthwhile. Preschoolers can look at the pages as they listen and sing along. They can also explore other activities on the page and sing it in their own way. Kindergartners can follow along with the words to begin learning to read, and it can be a prompt for thinking about other people who work and live in the neighborhood.
