Pup And Hound Scare A Ghost (Kids Can Read Series)
Something is scaring the chickens, what could it be? Pup and Hound give chase to a “ghost” all across the farm. Finally, the brave hound catches the “ghost," teaching pup how to be a Watchdog Pup.
This is a good book for children ready to tackle a little bit longer, illustrated stories.
I don’t feel the reading level is entirely appropriate as stated on the cover.
I picked this book, but my son chose to read it twice (once on his own and once for me). He liked it, especially the part where the sheet illustrations really make it look like a ghost.
I thought it was cute, but I thought the story started a little abruptly. I think the reading level is a little more difficult than the cover indicates. This is marked as “start to read” but my 6 year old have trouble with some of the words and he’s very advanced for his age.
This is an easy reader mystery for new readers.
This is a story for developing readers to practice their skills and expand their sight vocabulary.

Borrow. This is a cute book, good for children who are ready to move up from primarily illustrated books.
