Summary:

Martha lives with her mom, dad and brother. No one in her family trusted her, so she couldn't do anything. Her brother got all of the attention, so Martha did good things to prove she could be trusted.

I picked this because I like drama books. The book surprised me. After the first chapter I thought it would be boring, but it wasn't. I liked Shifty this book because it shows what it would be like if you were in the same situation as Martha. You could do what she does to gain trust.
