Summary:

Educational Themes:

This is a story that is meant to be shared for fun. Still, you can talk about responsibility, friendship, and playing with children (what is/isn't appropriate).

Reading Level:
1.8
Recommended Age To Read By Yourself:
6 to 9
Recommended Age To Read Together:
3 to 7
Age of child:
Read with and by a 6-year-old girl.
Purchase Recommendation:
Borrow. Although the pictures were great the story itself was not one you would really want to read more then a couple times. It is a good choice for a public or school library to own.
Little Kid Reaction

My daughter picked this book because she has read about this duck before. She laughed a lot while reading and enjoyed the pictures.

Parent Reaction

I enjoyed the pictures the most. The story was cute but didn’t keep me as an adult that entertained.

Pros:

This is a fun story about friendship, responsibility, and babysitting.

Cons:

None.
