snickerdoodle!™ and the roller-skating horse!

Summary:
While traveling in his peanut car, Snickerdoodle heard a horse in distress. The horse, wallowing in mud to his waist, was skeptical that such a small person could help. Ingenuity in freeing the horse, ultimately led to a friendship that helped Snickerdoodle make more believers in the power of being small.

Little Kid Reaction:
Within a few days and several readings, our preschooler was quoting Snickerdoodle. S/He loves to listen to the book on the CD and sing the songs.
Big Kid Reaction:
The story is fun … reminiscent of many of the great stories we remember as kids (like flat Stanley). The CD with new lyrics for classic songs of Americana complement the books nicely.
Pros:

The stories are humorous yet fun. The message is digestible for young listeners, and the CD helps add independence to those who want to listen or "read" along.

Cons:

None.
