Sugar Cookies: Sweet Little Lessons On Love
Each page in this picture book offers an example of a feeling or emotion. The examples are set in the context of making, baking, and sharing cookies.
Brief text and full-page illustrations combine to create a book where love jumps from every page.
None, really. This would be fun to share with very young children, though some of the concepts (e.g., unrequited love) will be beyond them.
Review pending.
This is a lovely little book. It reminds me of a gift book, but its designed for kids. I loved that the recipe is at the back, so you can share the story in "real life." The illustrations are very nice, and the young children just adorable.
This picture book illustrates feelings in a way young children can understand them.
This is a book you can read in one sitting or take one page at a time and talk about other examples of the concept.

Buy. In fact, buy two. One for you and one for your child's best friend. This is a book that you'll see at Valentine's Day but it's wonderful all year 'round.
