The Amazing Trail Of Seymour Snail

Summary:

Seymour's house is filled with his sculptures and paintings. Seymour liked them, but he wasn't sure anyone else would. When his friends discovered his talent, they encouraged him to get a job. Ultimately, he took a job with the Speedy Arts Gallery as the errand snail: sliming envelopes, making deliveries. When Seymour has to deliver a painting to Coco La Roach, the gallery owner, he gets a new perspective on his art.

Parent Reaction

This is a cute story. The characters are cute and the wordplay is wonderful. With lots of illustrations and plenty of humor, this is a great selection for reluctant and remedial readers.
