The Diamond Traitors

Becca Addison is a precocious ten-year-old in a family that appears to lead normal lives as restaurateurs, caterers, painters, and sculptors. But Becca and her family come from another realm, “The Other Side,” which can only be accessed by a portal called the Mist. Theft of rare paintings and gems, as well as kidnappings, have upset the entire community. Becca, her family and friends, join in the efforts to rescue the captives and recover the paintings and jewels, but time is slipping away.

The author captures the excitement, exuberance, frenetic behavior and attention span of adolescent girls. As a result, the characters are authentic, believable, and fun to know.

At the author’s request, the publisher allowed the work to go to print verbatim, without editorial input. Editing would have reduced some of the tedious description and eliminated some of the slang.
