The Peddler's Bed

Summary:

The little man couldn't believe it. Did the peddler really make a bed that doesn't squeak? As beautiful as it is, the little man does not have money for such a fine bed. The peddler offers him a deal: if the little man can make the bed squeak before sunset, the bed would be his. The little man and peddler spend the day together, and as the sun is setting, time is running out. Can the little man make the bed squeak?

The balance of text to image is perfect, and the bright illustrations are sure to keep page turning at a slow pace, as readers explore each spread.
