Little Kid Reaction:

Our soon-to-be Kindergartner (who herself is quite nervous) was amazed that a "big kid" would be nervous about school. We have read this book several times and expect that we'll have a bunch more requests between now and when school begins next week.

Parent Reaction:

At first we were confused by the "age" of the Kindergartner in the story. It wasn't long, though, that we realized that she is the Kindergarten teacher!

Pros:

This book will ease everyone's mind. Every Kindergartner will immediately take comfort in the idea that their teacher is probably just as nervous as they are!

Cons:

None, really. The illustrations are good, but don't really add a "wow" factor that could put the story over the top.
