yard, a baby unplugged book

Summary:
What can you find in your yard? What can you do outside? Rhymes and bright colors encourage kids to explore the world around them.
Educational Themes:
There are lots of ways to use this book. Start "doing" some of the things the kids do (like digging in the mud), and use the imagery for teaching vocabulary, from colors to objects (squirrels), and also early counting (how many butterflies do we see?).
Reading Level:
0.0
Recommended Age To Read By Yourself:
4 to 6
Recommended Age To Read Together:
1 to 4
Purchase Recommendation:
Buy! These are books kids will want to "read" by themselves and they are perfectly sized for their hands.
Little Kid Reaction

Big Kid Reaction
This is a fun, fun book. I love the bright colors, and the simplistic drawings are perfect for young eyes. The text helps create the action rather than the image.
Pros:

Don't be surprised if your toddler wants to race outside after reading this book!

Cons:

None.
